in the wish studio

So maybe a year or so ago, I received a comment on my blog from Mindy. After poking around her site for a while, I realized that not only did she have a lovely and creative personal presence; she had an amazing blogzine as well!

What I came to love about her zine is that it truly encouraged and inspired its readers. Mindy created a real community, one that was authentic and kind and supportive. The biggest thing for me though, was that it was truly inclusive. I never felt unwelcome or unheard in her space. Mindy was and is totally open to others sharing their unique creativity in the world.

I considered it a huge blessing and opportunity to publish a piece with her back then.

And now, after a brief hiatus, Mindy is re-launching the wish studio in a new home.

Isn’t it beautiful?

The same inclusivity is there, the same nurturing and encouraging spirit. And *ahem* the zine has a resident joy rebel.

Yours truly is now a monthly columnist at wish studio and I adore the space I am allowed to have to there.

My first column will be up soon and right now there is an amazing column from Jamie that you should definitely check out (and one that really hit home for me).

Please make sure to peek in the studio often for more columns and of course, to support the joy rebel army. ;-)
