So I was thinking the other day how much I just love LOVE this joy rebel thing. You guys know that right? I think you all are amazing and that this community is awesome and seeing so many creative, inspiring people sharing their own unique joy makes me excited to get up in the morning.
Really.
As I was thinking of that, my internal joy rebel said hey, wouldn't it be cool to have like a joy rebel day or something?. And I thought, damn. That's a fantastic idea!
So the mini joy rebel and I conferred some more and decided that July 1rst is to be the first annual unofficially official joy rebel day. I may even ask the president to make it a national holiday. ;-) (seriously. how cool would that be?)
What will we do on the unofficially official joy rebel day? Well, I don't know about you guys but I'll be doing all the things that truly make me feel joyful. Lunch outside, time in the grass with my dogs, reading fabulous books, laughing, kissing my husband to death.
And giveways! New prints in the etsy shop as well as discounts for that day only and all sorts of giving joy.
I'm excited all ready!

I LOVE giveaways, so I'll definitely incorporate that into my celebration of our unofficially official holiday!

July 1st is a stat holiday here in Canada anyway, so ensures I won't have to work and can spend the whole day in JOY!!!!!!

cool. July 1st is a national holiday here. it will be easy to find and be joy on that day ... a day when i'm free to embrace the pacific ocean, or the forest or both ... !

I'm all over this one Brandi!! I wonder how long until this becomes a national holiday - or maybe even better - a world holiday - because it should be. The more joy in the world, the better!!
