I've written about Jen and Jim before. Being able to experience their wedding was what solidified for me that I wanted to document the joy in people's lives.

And I continue to feel blessed at the connections photography creates. After letting Jen know that their photos were online to review, I got this very kind email from her mother: "Thank you for showing what I see everytime I look at them, a happy, fun, awesome family."
As I shared this happy tidbit with my life coach, I marveled at how her feedback was almost word for word what my intention for the shoot was. Michele told me: that's how you know you are living in alignment with your intentions, when you start hearing it back.
And that's pretty freaking cool, folks.

on another freaking cool note, the lovely Darrah at artcetera was kind enough to interview me. You can find the interview here. I hope you don't mind, but I bragged on ya'll just a little bit. :-)
Have a wonderful wednesday!

thank you for inspiring me with how brave and joy-filled you are.

Another beautiful set of photos! You are so inspiring. I love it when the universe comes together as nicely as it did when your coach's feedback matched your intention. Bravo!
you rock...
now run wild with it !
you know you can do it and when one gets that feeling and it's confirmed in the eyes of others...
oh, the world is your oyster !
Beautiful, happy, relaxed pictures, Brandi. =]
I read your interview too. It makes me realise how lucky I was to have my mother and my grandfather in my life ~ they both really nurtured my sense of myself as an artist and unconditionally believed in me (...and even so my inner artist is still a really delicate, vulnerable part of who I am.) I rang my mum a little while ago and told her how grateful I was.
Thank you for writing so honestly.

The pleasure was all mine! Thanks for sharing your journey and your insights into creativity and living life authentically.
You rock!
I love that you've received such validation that you are living in alignment. That term is one of my favorites and so vital if we are to live our truth, our joy, and our Oneness with one another. Congrats, Brandi!
I love when family photos feel like really lucky candid-ish captures of happiness ... looks like you've got that one down. :)
ps - loved the interview.
