It's here folks! The first ever unofficially official joy rebel day is today!! A day to celebrate yourself. A day to focus on joy, give joy, roll around in it, sleep through and otherwise practice the sublime art of being authentically you.
I'll be posting my joy rebel day adventures throughout the week and I'll be tweeting throughout the day today if you'd like to follow along.
New prints are up in my etsy shop and everything is at a reduced price through satuday!
The party continues for a week over at she sleeps with sea glass as she is hosting a joy rebel blog party. She is encouraging everyone to blog about their experiences today and she is keeping a blog roll of anyone who would like to participate. And last but not least, I'll be talking about joy and joy rebel day and whatever else comes up on cirkla girl's blogtalk radio show at 7pm CST time tonight. Happy Joy Rebel Day! So far my day has been rather unexpectedly joyful. Some employment opportunities are looking good and I have a wonderful guest post on my blog today. And it isn't even noon yet! : )

July 1st was also Canada here, and we did a LOT of celebrating...water balloon fights,(some tasteless stuff too --on my blog).
Last night at our town's fireworks show, I remembered and told my hatchling...
"hey, this is my JOY REBEL DAY"...and she said, "cool - fireworks and everything!"
