in my world these days

isn't fall beautiful?

* hooping! My friend Anna invited me to her hooping class and I am now hooked. And freaking sore...lol. It's definitely a work out but so fun. I've been feeling really burned out exercise-wise and this has been just what I was looking for to re-energize me.

* The wizard of oz. I love the artistry of this movie and vividness, the quaint fairy tale quality. And it's being re-released because it's 70 years old this year.

* Swallowing Darkness, the latest installment in the Meredith Gentry series by Laurel K Hamilton. It comes out in paperback on tuesday and I re-read the last installment to prepare for it. Ooohhh...I am so ready to get the book! For those of you not familiar with Laurel's work, she is a modern fantasy writer with a delicious, powerful, raunchy imagery that completely sucks you into her novels.

* Old time christmas songs by bing crosby and frank sinatra on pandora. I know, I'm such a dork but I totally get into the whole holiday cheer and good will towards men vibe this time of year. And you can bet I'll be sitting in front of the TV when A Charlie Brown Christmas shows on prime time. With cookies.

What's going on in your world?

p.s. There is still time to take advantage of FREE SHIPPING in my etsy shop!

I so identify with this list! I've wanted to try a hooping class for a while now.

The wizard of oz is one of my all time favorite movies. It would be interesting to see it in a theater.

I'm totally addicted to pandora and have been tweeting all my songs!

I love my Charlie Brown Christmas CD, but won't listen to it until after Thanksgiving. I can't wait!

Have a great weekend! ; )

I can't believe the Wizard of Oz is 70!! I'll be going to see my sister perform in my favorite spin-off of that tale, Wicked, in January.

Never read that series, but your description made me want to go grab the book -- immediately!

It's good to be a dork. I think being cool would be quite boring most of the time.
